Trading across the Pakistani export landscape.

Eight categories where Pakistan has structural advantage — and where ZERCO operates with depth, not breadth-by-default.

Pakistani basmati rice fields and grain handling

01 · Industry

Rice & Grains

Pakistan is the world’s fourth-largest rice exporter, with basmati exports approaching $2.5 billion annually. The country’s long-grain basmati and IRRI varieties have an established place in Middle Eastern, European, and African kitchens, prized for grain length, aroma, and post-cook elongation. Production is concentrated in Punjab’s rice belt, with capacity to ship in both bulk and consumer-pack formats.

ZERCO works with mills across the rice belt to source by grade, moisture, and grain length. We handle pre-shipment inspection, fumigation, container loading, and the documentation set buyers expect — Phytosanitary, Certificate of Origin, GAFTA where applicable. Volumes from a single FCL up to multi-vessel commitments are within our operating range.

Fresh shrimp and fish from the Pakistani coast

02 · Industry

Seafood

Pakistan’s 1,000-kilometer coastline along the Arabian Sea produces shrimp, cuttlefish, white fish, and processed marine products in commercially relevant volumes. Karachi and Gwadar host the country’s primary processing infrastructure, with HACCP and ISO 22000 certified facilities exporting into the EU, China, the Gulf, and Southeast Asia.

ZERCO sources direct from processors operating to international cold chain standards. We coordinate reefer container booking, pre-shipment temperature logging, end-to-end cold chain integrity, and the certificate set required for marine product imports — health certificate, catch certificate, country of origin. Frozen, dried, and value-added formats supported.

Cotton fabrics, garments, and home textiles produced in Pakistan

03 · Industry

Textiles

Textiles remain Pakistan’s largest export category, accounting for over 50% of the country’s export receipts. The sector spans raw cotton, yarn, greige fabric, finished fabric, ready-made garments, knitwear, denim, towels, and bed linen. Faisalabad, Lahore, Karachi, and Sialkot anchor production, with several mills holding OEKO-TEX, GOTS, and BCI certifications.

ZERCO works with vertically integrated mills and dedicated garment factories to source by yarn count, GSM, weave, and finishing requirements. Pakistan’s GSP+ status with the EU eliminates tariffs on most textile categories — a structural pricing advantage we surface for European buyers. Private label, contract manufacturing, and own-brand sourcing all supported.

Pakistani mangoes, citrus, and dates

04 · Industry

Fruits & Vegetables

Pakistan ranks among the world’s top mango producers, with the Sindhri and Chaunsa varieties widely sought across the Gulf, the UK, and Southeast Asia. The country also exports significant volumes of kinnow citrus, dates from the Sindh and Balochistan date belts, potatoes, onions, and seasonal vegetables. The growing season produces sequenced availability across most of the calendar year.

ZERCO arranges sourcing from registered growers and packhouses, manages cold chain logistics, and handles phytosanitary documentation for destinations with active SPS controls. Air freight via Karachi, Lahore, and Gwadar International Airport is available for premium fresh categories; sea reefer for volume programs.

Onyx and marble blocks from Balochistan

07 · Industry

Marble & Stone

Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa hold some of the world’s most distinctive onyx and marble deposits, including the green onyx for which Pakistan is internationally known. Total reserves exceed 300 billion tonnes across marble, granite, and onyx. The sector’s value lies in distinctive coloration, large-block availability, and increasingly modern processing infrastructure.

ZERCO coordinates sourcing from registered quarries and processing facilities, in raw block, slab, tile, and finished product formats. Inspection at quarry, factory, and pre-shipment stages is part of our standard offering. Container, breakbulk, and project-cargo movements supported through Karachi, Gwadar, and Port Qasim.

Capital equipment imports for Pakistani industry

08 · Industry

Industrial Machinery

On the import side, Pakistan’s industrial base is a sustained buyer of capital equipment — textile machinery, food processing lines, construction and earth-moving equipment, packaging lines, and energy infrastructure. The CPEC industrial buildout has further accelerated demand for plant and equipment across the country’s special economic zones.

ZERCO supports international machinery manufacturers reaching Pakistani industrial buyers, and Pakistani buyers sourcing capital equipment internationally. We handle commercial structuring, Letter of Credit arrangements, customs clearance, port handling, inland transport, and on-site delivery coordination. Installation supervision can be arranged via partner specialists.
